When is the best time to book maternity photography?Maternity sessions are best done between 28 and 34 weeks, depending how your pregnancy is going. This is a great time because you're not too tired yet and your belly is still big enough to be the star of the photos.

When is the best time to book newborn photography?Maternity and newborn sessions are best booked together to get a $50 discount. Newborn sessions should be done while baby is between 5 and 14 days old. Booking early guarantees you a spot during the perfect time frame. If baby has already arrived please contact me as soon as possible.

How does scheduling a newborn session work?A newborn is such an exciting time in your journey, and I would love to help you document this stage that will fly by so fast! To schedule your newborn appointment I will ask you to come to my studio and give you a tour of my studio and show you the amazing products I offer. I know it is hard to trust people in this day and time and I want you to feel totally comfortable with me and my studio space. You will then pay your session fee to hold a time slot for you. We put you in the calendar on your due date. Babies can come early or late, so we adjust the time as needed. I only take a certain number of newborns per month to ensure I will have plenty of space for all the babies that arrive early, late, or on time!
-
I love the props in your photos, are they provided?Yes! I have a wide variety of outfits, hats, blankets and props. If you have a special item you want in the photos we can get that too!
-
Who should come to the newborn session? If you are doing sibling shots, you will want to plan on them being around for the first part of the session. Just photographing baby can take 2 - 3 hours and sometimes the toddler aged siblings will get very bored sitting that long just watching. It is best if you can have someone that can pick up your older children once the family/sibling portion of the photo shoot is finished. Sibling shots are done first to allow for baby to settle for those newborn shots.
-
Do you want my baby to sleep during the session?Yes, we want your new baby to sleep. When baby is in a deep sleep we can get all the adorable poses most parents are looking for. When you book we will send you a welcome packet with more information on planning for your session.
-
What types of payment do you accept? We accept cash, check, paypal and most major credit cards. If you are familiar with Zelle, that is also available.
-
When is payment due? When you book your session a non-refundable session/retainer fee is due to hold your space. If you need to reschedule the retainer is good towards one date change. After your session I will edit your photos and set up a viewing/ordering appointment with you. Payment for your purchase of digitals and product will be due at this appointment, so please bring all decision makers to your ordering appt.
-
If I cancel will I get my retainer back?Unfortunately no, the retainer is non-refundable. If you need to reschedule it is good to use towards one date change. A second change will require a new retainer to be paid.
-
Do you offer payment plans?Yes, we offer a 3 payment plans for larger packages and sessions. All payments must be made in full before recieving any and all digital and print products. Please contact me to find out more.
-
When and how will I get my images? After your session, your images are edited and retouched. In approx 1 to 2 weeks, I will message you to set up an appointment to come in and view your proofs. At that time you will be able to choose the images you would like and order any additional digitals or print product that you want. I will get your order sent out that day unless you ordered an album. Albums take 8-10 business days.
-
Will you provide unedited images? It is my policy that no unedited images or RAW files are provided to clients for any reason.
